I'm tired.
I've been running from dawn till dusk.
Keeping to the less murky parts of this desolate swamp.
I'm trapped hear you see,
I've got nowhere else to go...
I've tried escaping but the end result is just a punding headache...
And tears running down my face;
Both in the real world and in this place.
It's my own mind, you understand,
That I am running from.
Trapped in my own head.
Fleeing from my own thoughts,
That torment me every day.
The only option of escape,
Is to destroy the source of my fear,
But as that source is me....
I think i will just keap un running.

Carrie,

I just posted a link to you - if you read it, please don't think that I am criticising your blog. I was just a bit amazed to leap randomly from one marathon blog to another (via the miracle of Guinness!) and realise that a running blog is not such an unusual idea after all.

Which marathon are you doing, and when? Good luck with the training.

I initially started training for the Little Rock marathon which is in March, but I fell a little behind on my training, so instead I'm shooting for the Buenos Aires marathon in October.

I admire your patience! I would have been tempted to go for the first one... but I guess at some time reality strikes and your realise it's not possible unless you want to get injured. I hope the training goes really well and your patience pays off.
