So much to do, so little time in which to do it

I didn't run last week since I was sick. I feel overwhelmed now. I missed all that mileage and I don't know how I'm going to make it up.

I've been out 2 times this week. I haven't really been worried about time this week, since I'm still a little under the weather. I don't want to overdo it and make myself any worse than I already am. I developed a yucky blister on my right foot, at the point where the first joint of my big toe is. It popped last night with an explosion of pus, so I put some Neosporin and a bandage on it. It feels okay when I'm walking, since I can do more to arrange my foot so that I'm not striking on that part of it. When I'm running, it hurts, as I discovered this evening. I walked more than I meant to today, just because my foot was hurting so bad.

I'm (hopefully) running in a 5K this weekend. It's the Presidential 5K Fun Run. It kicks off a week of festivities associated with the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library. I guess when I say hopefully, I'm definitely participating. I just hope to run most of it if my foot agrees.
